
Sourdough Bread 101 with Pastry Chef Zoe Taylor
This three-Saturday introduction to sourdough bread is taught by acclaimed local pastry chef Zoe Taylor, formerly of Milktooth, whose recipes have been featured in national magazines. In the first session, Zoe will introduce you to sourdough bread and you’ll create the beginnings of your own starter. In the second session, you’ll learn how to incorporate your sourdough starter into an easy sourdough muffin recipe and learn how to add sourdough to any recipe and adjust moisture levels. The third session focuses on making sourdough foccacia and learning about alternative flours. Each session builds on the previous class, so plan on attending all three!
